Gandhi Seva Sanghha

1946 to 1956
Gandhi Seva Sangha and Buniadi Vidyalaya were established, and land was donated by the Jorasanko Daw family.

1966 to 1976
Adult Education Centre and Homeopathic Clinic started, and the school was upgraded to a Junior School.

1976 to 1986
The school building’s first floor was inaugurated, vocational training for women began, and the public library and charitable allopathic clinic were opened.

1986 to 1996
Outdoor health clinics were established, child development and toy library started, computer training began, and the first floor of the Sangha building was inaugurated.

1996 to 2006
Eye clinic and operations were introduced, silk screen printing and dress-making vocational programs launched, and the Seva Nibas for cancer patients was set up.

2007 to 2008
Seva Nibas was extended with dormitories, and the public library was expanded with funding from the Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation.

2009 to 2010
Eye clinic activities expanded, and the foundation stone for Gandhi Seva Sadan Hospital was laid.

2013 to 2016
Public library remodeling, Seva Nibas extended to accommodate 25 patients, and the Gandhi Seva Sadan OPD and GSS IT division were inaugurated.
